OK for all of those who complain about the roster turn over specially in the O-line with the perfect example being the Satele-Grove-Pouncey situation, tell me this; would you rather have gotten coaches who ran similar schemes to the ones we had in 2011 when IMO the team was close to ready and just improved over Sparano and Daboll and promoted Bowles or do you agree with having changed to a WCO and the zone blitzing 4-3?

how were we improving with Sparano after 2008?

Improved OVER not WITH. The whole point is a lot of people complain about how we are still fixing the O-Line without realizing the 2011 one was just fine and had to be reshuffled because of the scheme changes.

Long (before sucking) - Cog - Pouncey - Jerry - Garner was pretty decent.

My question is if we should have hired coaches with similar philosophies as the ones we had instead of completely different ones not if we should have kept Sparano. Its obvious him and Daboll had to go.

Not sure where you saw people were complaining about the 2011 OL. If you ask anyone on this board, they will tell you Sparano's OL's were much better than this one.

And no, we absolutely shoudd not have kept Sparano nor should we have hired a coach with a power, run first offense. This offensive scheme is just fine. TYhe only thing we is an OL that is capable of blocking an 80 year old woman, and an offensive coordinator with half a brain.

I would have kept the same BASIC system, but went with a new coaching staff. Just had to upgrade the playmaker positions and they would be okay. There's nothing wrong with a running team, as long as you mix in the passes. In the old system, Henne wasn't that bad between the 20s but there was a lack of red zone threats. Now, this team has a better QB and some scoring threats, but they can't make it to the red zone as often. I believe that this team has upgraded the talent on the field, but the new system is making them look worse than before between the 20s. The only reason they're scoring more points is because they're now getting more TDs than FGs.
