This according to ESPN Rumor Mill. You need insider to read it but it basically says that Schulters would like to stay here if possible. I say give the man some money. He's been a valuable leader for the secondary, and with the possibility of Madison leaving, he is more likely to be the leader and the guy others look up to next season. He should be THE main priority of the re-signings.

I think unless saban plans on going after a Saftey in the first or second round , he will be.
 
Didn't he say he wanted to stay with us like, a month ago? Anyway, if his price tag is reasonable, I'll be happy to have him back on a 2 or 3 year deal.
 
I feel that if we can re-sign him to around a 3 year deal for under 10 mil, then get it done, if he wants more than that, may the best team have him.

think about it guys. If he didn't come to our team we woudl not be where we are today. 2 key INT's to save/win games and other things he did on the field and wiht jones gone god knows how it woudl have been after his injury. the guy saved/won us a few games himself and we barely acquired him LASSSST second.

yeah, but I did a search and couldn't find anyone who posted that info, so probably for many, including me, it's still news and confirmes earlier reports that Shulters was leaning on staying. I think the sooner we re-sign him the better because I've seen many websites rating him as one of the better S in FA.
 
we need him. i hope he is considered one of the better S in FA or else i dont want him.
 
Lance definitely stepped it up this season. For a reasonable price, you would have to keep him around.
 
I've been hoping all along that he stays....it was only his first year with us but he made some nice plays and next season he should be even better imo.What I'd like is a new starting SS to go along with Lance.

I want him to stay a FIN! Let him stay, draft a young safty, and let Schulters help him. Playing special teams and back up will help him transition. Plus it gives us insurence. He had a great year for us, and he wants to stay. That says alot. Gotta love a guy who loves his team back
