Feels great to beat down a rival in front of a national audience. Now we can just sit back and watch other AFC teams beat each other up hopefully all in Miami's best interest. With Miami's 9th win last night, the Chargers have been KO'd for the season. Miami is currently 6th seed.
Games to keep an eye on:
Early games:
Eagles @ Ravens
Another Ravens loss would put Miami in even better shape of avoiding a tie with them.
Titans @ Chiefs
Chiefs (and Raiders) are Miami's main competition for the 5th seed for those who want to avoid the probable 3 seeded north champs in a playoff game. Let's not forget a Titans win could be detrimental to Miami in a tie for a wildcard spot should Tennessee not win the South.
Steelers @ Bengals
Steelers win eliminates Cincinnati. A Steelers loss and Ravens win would cause them to switch places and basically puts Pittsburgh 2 games behind Miami with 2 to go should they not win the North.
Late games:
Patriots @ Broncos
miami gets closer to possibly clinching a playoff spot next week if Denver loses here. Pats loss keeps the AFC east open but it's a long shot for Miami as They would need a massive upset by the jets over the pats next week which could set up a winner take all pats/Dolphins game. On the other side, broncos reclaim the 6th seed if they win today as well.
Raiders @ Chargers
Depending on what Kansas City does vs Tennessee, Oakland could be the new sole main competitor for the 5th seed for Miami. Oakland already has 7 conference wins, Miami will probably need to finish with a better record than Oakland if they want the 5th seed.
whats our dream scenario?
