RAVENS MAKING A RUN AT BART SCOTT

Albert Breer of SportingNews.com reports at the PFT-on-SN site that the Baltimore Ravens are making a late push to re-sign linebacker Bart Scott.
Citing an unnamed league source, Breer reports that the Raverns are doing “everything they can” to keep Scott from becoming a free agent at midnight.
The Ravens also have been negotiating with linebacker Ray Lewis. We heard rumblings earlier in the day suggesting that the Ravens had upped their offer to keep Lewis from possibly leaving.
now this is interesting, if he hits the market in the next hour 30, why did we sign crowder then? did they not think that highly of scott? or rather spend less on crowder and spend the more amount of $ on brown instead?
this way we dont go 2 big names we go 1 big name and 1 somewhat big name (crowder)
also, canty may be the first to visit Skins..good news regarding brown.
CANTY TO BE THE FIRST TO VISIT THE ‘SKINS?

At a time when many are assuming that Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth or Ravens center Jason Brown will be the first free agents to visit Redskins Park when the doors fly open at 12:01 a.m. EST, we’re hearing indications that the first visitor will actually be Cowboys defensive end Chris Canty.
Canty has been a defensive end in the 3-4 attack that the Cowboys employ.
The Washington Post reported on Thursday that the ‘Skins are interested, explaining that he would play defensive end on first and second downs, and move inside in obvious passing situations.
Canty recently has expressed an interest in playing for the Dolphins, given that Miami V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells drafted Canty out of Virginia when Parcells was the coach in Dallas.
also, blog said sources say miami has a few players they want and will come in friday for a visit. I hope its some CBs and brown doesnt even visit he jsut takes the offer :)
