Hey guys, eager to move on, and interested in hearing the Bucs won their first game right before we play them..
Today in Josh Freeman's first career start he went 14/31, 205yrds, 3 TDs and 1 INT, along with 4 rushes for 20 yards in a comeback victory vrs the Pack.
Here's a video of his game highlights

First thing that sticks out is his size, he's 6'6 250. I didn't scout Freeman this offseason, since we weren't really in the market for a QB, even though we drafted one.. ^_^
But Freeman today really impressed me, I didn't watch the entire game, since I was swept up with the phin game, but his highlights are impressive.

He does a great job of evading the pressure, and keeps his head downfield making plays on the run. We all know he's got that JaMarcus type arm ofr bombs, but his accuracy isn't consistent.

I think we can win this game, but the Bucs scored 38 points on the Pack, and Freeman had his breakout game, I just think we got something to worry about with their improved defense and QB play.

If anyone can further elaborate on this player feel free too, I'm interested in knowing more since I didn't pay attention to him this offseason

He looked good in the small amount of pre-season play I saw of him. I was surprised that the Bucs waited this long to give him the reins. He has good presence, a strong arm but the knock is his accuracy. Only time will tell on Freeman.

There really is only todays film they have to scout him so it will be tough.

One thing's for sure: he's the Bucs best quarterback. I have no idea why they even gave that loser Leftwich a shot early on.

He can be a Roeth/McNabb if he keeps up the good work. JaMarcus Russel should look up to him.

TB won because they played with a lot of emotion and GB played right into their hands. GB's secondary is horrible and Freeman had plenty of time to wait for someone to get open down the field. On the D side of the ball, Rodgers was on his back more than he was upright. The GB OL is horrible with both pass protection and run blocking. If we play smart and don't turn the ball over, we should do just fine with TB and win by a TD or two at home.

I really wish we would of drafted this kid. hes 6'6 accurate and can move.

It was the Creamsickle Orange uniforms that beat the Packers, not Freeman. The Packers saw those uniforms and rolled over like yellow dogs. We should have no problem beating the Bucs.....just control the ball and clock and this should be a "W."

I watched the Packer game and the Dolphin game. From what I saw, Aaron Rodgers lost the Packers the game with a couple bad interceptions giving the Buccs a TD and a short field. Freeman looked good. Mobile in the pocket getting away from the blitz, and was very accurate throwing on the run.
