18. Miami Dolphins
Miami finished the 2006 season with the 22nd-ranked run offense in the NFL, but that number is bound to improve under new head coach Cam Cameron, who will be more committed to running the football. The Dolphins have a very good stable of runners to work with, starting with Ronnie Brown, whom Cameron will look to build his offense around. Brown is coming off his first 1,000-yard season and will continue to improve. Cameron also wants to add a little more speed at the position and that is why the Dolphins added former Florida State RB Lorenzo Booker with their third-round pick. Booker is a quick runner with solid hands and should contribute early on as a change-of-pace back to the more powerful Brown.

You really can't argue with this. You can view them bumping us up 4 spots as "cautious opitimism".

I think that list is about right. Having us at 18 when we have Brown who will improve more and Booker who hasnt taken a snap in the NFL isnt a bad rating.

Ronnie is a great running back who hopefully will have a great upcoming season-----BUT I"m wondering if maybe He loses a little weight He could break away fron those trailing D'backs that caught up to Him last Year and the Year before after He was in the open field.....

This is a very solid list. The only spot I would disagree with is Oakland at 13. Thats just ridiculous. They make a case for it on pape, but no way. A team that ranked 29th in the league doesnt jump 16 spots for adding Dominic Rhodes and Michael Bush. Get real. I think they should drop 9 spots and everyone should move up in order which would place at 17.

I think our combo of Brown/Booker is very compareable to the Jets who were ranked right ahead of us.

I also though that St. Louis (ranked #14) should've been ranked a few spots higher. Around 10 or 11.

um i think we could do better than that this year with ronnie going into his third year and if he is in shape when the season starts he is really good and cam likes to us the FB

I wonder what it would be if we had Ricky as well??????

Can't really expect the '07 RW to match the '05 RW, he's 30 years old now. Even then, it's hard to have a good running game when you don't run the ball.

As much as I like RB, I have real concerns about the running game. I have doubts as to how much we'll run the ball.
