I dont know too much of his game, So if anyone does know please let me know what we are getting out of this guy but from after reading what plenty scouts and experts are saying i don't know if i feel comfortable now drafting him, especially when we are thin at CB and our starter, grimes is close to his mid 30's. Maybe Marcus peters or tre wayans will be safer pick for us in the long run. I'm reading that parker is a 2nd round receiver but due to pass happy teams in the nfl he will go no later then 16, they say He doesn't like to run routes or get hit, hes more of a deep threat one trick poney type WR..thats good an all but we have kenny stills who will be our deep threat we need a big physical WR who isn't afraid of contact or afraid to run routes. I would hate to waste this pick and get torch all year in our passing game, plus mccain is a serious liability if he starts just be prepared to see him get burnt all day. I think he should be nickel or dime. I have faith in will davis, hope he recovers good because we need him back.

I have no faith in Will Davis. Don't know how you could. He has barely seen the field

Well reading the training camp and preseason post he was the leader in INT. I was hearing he was picking off our qb like everyday 2-3 ints...but it couldve been due to poor play not sure

I don't know where you saw that, but every scout that's worth a damn has parker slated in the top half of the first round.

WRs Amari Cooper & Kevin White are virtually guaranteed to be stars.

DeVante Parker does have some extra risk, since he's described as "average suddenness out of breaks" and "will have more contested catches than most explosive wideouts", along with the fact that he didn't run the 3-cone drill and 20 yd shuttle.

Still, I think he's worth a #14 overall pick.

Devante will be a stud and hopefully the fins can grab him at 14

I really like Cooper. I really hope that Dallas wants to trade up for Gordon in front of us to give us a better shot at landing him! If they want to trade with us and are willing to offer to swap firsts, their second and 5th, then I will be ok with selecting DGB.

yeah but it says the only reason why hell go higher then 2nd round is because teams have pass happy offenses.....im not doubting parker dont even know much of his game just hope we make right pick....if cooper, parker and white are all gone do we draft Dorial Green-Beckham?

heres mock draft from drafttek.com:

will davis can't hold jamar taylor's jock. and jamar taylor has scarcely proven anything yet.

i have seen many draft observers say parker has a chance to be the best pro out of cooper, white and himself.

i like DGB's talent. i hope if we miss on a WR in round one he is there for us in round 2. otherwise no, i don't take DGB in the first if the top 3 are gone.

if cooper, parker and white are all gone do we draft Dorial Green-Beckham?

Not with the #14 pick.

Dorial Green-Beckham is a physical freak. But his college stats were mediocre, he has a poor work ethic, poor route runner, drug arrests, beats up women, red flags all over.

I would be shocked if we took DGB in the 1st round.

Kevin White is far from a sure thing. My goodness is he ever.

Agreed. Ive stayed mostly quiet on the issue because it seems as if the entire board wants Parker, but I'm not sold on him or White.

With that said Ive had strong convictions in the past that turned out incorrect. When it comes to the draft, these days ive chosen to have faith in the front office. I'm not out to convince myself or anyone else I'm some talent evaluator, as if it would matter come draft day.

All I have is an eyeball test, and Cooper is the only one that passes mine with the 14th pick. I've always hated the idea of reaching to fill a need, but that's exactly what we did with James and I think that's worked out so far. Proves how much I know.
