Things weren't looking good for the Seahawks after Russell Wilson threw his fourth interception of the game with Seattle down 19-7 and five minutes left in the NFC title game.So some Seahawks fans decided to break a cardinal rule of sports fandom and left the game early. It didn't take long for them to completely regret their decision.

 One year removed from a Super Bowl championship and they can't even stick around to see the game out.

At least the come. Ours don't make it to the stadium

I don't know. It looked pretty full at the end of the game. I made comments that the stadium would empty after 4th int. But most stayed and were rewarded. A few people are always going to leave early.

Yeah. What a grand post. Post of the year.

CenturyLink Field holds "only" 67,000. If SunLife would "only" hold 67,000 the Stadium would have been sold out every single game last year. But that problem will solved since we are going back to 65,000.

Howe often were you in the stadium last year?

Can you just imagine: you spend all that money, you get a coveted ticket to see your team go to the Superbowl and you have to watch the rally and the celebration on a TV in front of the stadium.
And how do you explain that to your kids? As far as we know it may be the last time for the next 40 years. :sidelol:

I think I can count on one hand how many games I left early in nearly 3 decades. The Jxv playoff game in Jxv was one of them.
I remember that in the early 2000s we were down 24-0 to the Jets with some 5 minutes left. I was there with my son. We stayed all the way through. With like a minute to go a Jets fan turned around and said to us: Wow, that is impressive. You two are true fans.
By that time we must have been the only Dolphins fans left.

I was taught by my dad and I taught my kids - you never ever leave early. Celebrating a victory is easy. Living through the agony of a loss with class is the hardest part. Though the 1-15 season was brutal.
