Seahawks offered us Shaun Alexander (Per ESPN)

Walter Jones, their all-pro LT, has been tryiong to get an extension for years. They are very tight with their wallets

I thought the situation with Jones was much like the one with Pace -- neither of them like TC, and both of them want far too much money to possibly get signed to the type of deal they want by any team. Is this not true?

According to ESPN, Dallas offered Eddie George. I guess the Dolphins were smart enough to realize that George is done.

Thank god we didn't sign George. It's obvious he's done...still don't knw why dallas signed him. They should start ReShard Lee (who looked great yesterday) until "Orange" Julius is ready.

As for Alexander....obviously the Dolphins would have LOVED to get him, but Seattle was probably asking a bundle for him.

Seattle would be stupid not to sign Hasselbeck before Alexander. Hasselbeck has potential to be one of the game's best qb's, something very hard to find. Alexander is a very good running back, and is in the top of the 2nd tier of running backs imo, just not a Clinton Portis.
