...we should select Norm Chow as our head coach. He read off the resume, which is of course spectacular, and said that Norm's only downfall is that he isn't the greatest at beating his own chest and selling himself. He really feels that Chow's race is the primary reason behind his not landing a HC job.

I guess I don't know enough about Chow...is there any merit to Salisbury's claims? Is Chow a real HC candidate with the ability to crank this offense up to a whole new level?

Sean Salisbury is just saying that because he's a USC homer and wants to see Chow as a head coach.

Chow would be a terrible choice. He's a coordinator. He's not head coach material.

Anything Salisbury says we should do, we should do the EXACT opposite.

Chow would definitely be a good selection. If we can't get Cam Cameron (I think Arizona will lure him), I have no problem with Chow being our HC.

But I have this dread feeling that Wayne will trade some draft picks to the Steelers in exchange for Cowher.

Norm Chow is good at managing a Unit of a football team.

His laid back nature I think would be death for an NFL franchise.

He is good at taking a few guys and getting his points across.

His main success has always been at developing QB's...

and nevermind anyway...Norm Chow is a done deal in Arizona.

Salisbury is just saying that because they are both from USC.

Could not possibly agree more.

Sean Salisbury is, has been, and always will be a tool. The only reason he wants Chow to be the head coach is because he went to USC.

Norm was only a OC for USC for 3yrs. That has nothing to do why he would like him to be a head coach. How bout the fact he has coached up Jim McMahon, Steve Young, Phillip Rivers, Carson Palmer, Matt Lienart and now he coaching Vince Young who everyone though will be a bust. You think this guys has eye for talent at the Qb position.

Bill Cowher people! The Chin! Shula Ver2.0 We already have both of his old Coord in place.....Cowher Power!!!!

Ask these guys if he is any good: Steve Young, Jim McMahon, Marc Wilson, Gifford Nielsen, Ty Detmer, Robbie Bosco, Philip Rivers, Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart. I think they will agree that he is.

I think its because he asain he doesnt get a shot a HC job.

Your right. But i dont think the arizona thign is gonna pan out for them, mainly because the same reason we need an OC as our HC, they need a DC as theirs.

There is a vast difference between developing quarterbacks, which Chow is good at, and running a whole football team.

Chow is not head coach material.

I'm sure Vince Young would agree. Quite an elite list.
