I don't understand how this Defense is so Fing BAD.

I don't understand why Omar Kelly is in love with Sean Smith...he sucks in my opinion. He blew yesterday...dropped so many EASY ints last season...and he talks so much crap...he should STFU and just play footaball instead of running his mouth.

The ONLY CB besides V. Davis that has promise in my opinion is J. Wilson. I think and really hope he and V. Davis can become pro bowlers...like the good ol days of P. Surtain and S. Madison...now those two were the best CB tandem back in the day.

The only player missing in action from last season is C. Chrowder...I thought 4 sure K. Burnett was an upgrade but it does not look like it.

Get on the phone Ireland and get Channing back in a Fins uni...he might be more valuable on the field and in the locker room than I thought.

Go Fins!!!

Sean Smith is a good cover corner. His problem is he was overhyped. He is not a playmaker because he lacks ball skills, but he is one of our better cover guys. I do have to admit though his effort is very inconsistent. Certainly not a great player, but also not a complete bum.

Mr. Softee.

Vanilla flavored.

just start jimmy wilson. im done with smith. id rather see a rookie screw up playing strong instead of this crap. start the future now. sparano wont though, cus its suck for luck time.

This team has talent and potential but lacks the coaching and leadership needed to bring out the best in each player.

Inconsistency is what is ruining this team. But yes, I miss the days of Madison, Surtain, Walker, Marion...

He blew it a few times yesterday, but overall he's a solid cover corner. He needs to be more physical and look for the ball more. He'll be alright.

That's the thing though we've been saying that since his rookie season. To be fair though he's getting NO safety help for when he does mess up coverage or miss a tackle. That only magnifies his mistakes..

I just hope after week 5 that VD is back. I think Smith will look better when VD is healthy

i dont know bro. Ill be honest, I thought so too but man after watchin these 4 weeks its like yea sparano and the coachin staff are not doin their job . But dam its only so much coaches can do, players got to play and most of them jus look slow and weak. They been playin football their whole lives and i dont wna hear the tankin excuse. Its only week 4 cmon now lets get serious. A lot of these players must go next year along wit the coachin staff

The guy we should be talking about is Reshad Jones. He has given up a TD or big play every game this year. And its not because he gets beat, its because he's not following his assignment. Thats the worst thing you can do. Everyone gets beat once and a while, but not knowing the coverage scheme is unacceptable.

Yeah he's not doing too good right now. Unfortunately there's no use in talking about it though, coaching staff is too stubborn to put Clemons in..

i agree reshad jones has been one of our worst players this year. and man thats bad i really dislike the guy personally , i dont understand how he starts over clemons ..really it beats me

My opinion is pretty solid. There are guys who come to play, and there are guys who want more success and want to make a difference. Sean Smith is not one of those guys and that is why he is exactly what you said.

I agree. He may not be a great player, but he's better than anyone else other than Vontae at this point. It's not even debatable
