As it stands right now, if we made o trades I'd make it look like this:

1st- Chris Long (DE-VIR)- You can't go wrong here. Long is the perfect 3-4 DE that we need and will replace Jason Taylor in the up and coming years. He will be a star and plus you can't go wrong with Howie's son.

2nd- Antonie Cason (CB-ARZ)- His stock seems to be falling a little, this is the ideal CB we need as our #2 esque. Look for this pick to be the 1st of many surprise picks of the draft.

2nd (b)- James Hardy (WR- Indiana)/Martellus Bennett (TE TX A&M)- This could be a controversial pick. If Sam Baker is availible here, i think we take him, but if not, I think we take a TE. This maybe a little early for Bennett, but I think it's worth it. He could be an Antonio Gates esque, 6'7 and wicked fast. This is coming from a Die- Hard texas fan. But, I think Hardy would make more sense herem because he is the big posession WR we need, and him alongside Ginn and (Ocho) if we get him. Ocho-Ginn- Hardy slot, now that's a balanced WR core.

3rd- Barry Richardson (T-CLEMSON)- I think we take a Tackle here if we don't take Baker in the 2nd. This kid has unbelieveable strength. If Richardson is already off the board, I think we take Tony Hills T (Texas).

4th- JerMichael Finley (TE TEXAS)/ Johnnathan Goff (MLB -VANDY)- JerMichael could be a strong possiblity if we don't take Bennett or Davis in the 2nd round. And this pick would probably only be possible if we got Sam Baker in the 2nd round insted of Bennett like I stated above. So, thus Goff is the best pick here in my opinion, because he is a great tackler, and is a nice MLB to replace Zach Thomas if he retires or leaves. Even though I'm a Texas fan, i think Goff is the easy pick here.

6th- Justin King (CB- Penn State)/ Adrian Arrington (WR- MICH)- This is probably the most unrealistic pick that i have put on here, king is projected to go 4th-5th round, but hey, you never know because this draft is so deep. if King is not there, most likely BPA will be taken. The other picks I'd project is Adrian Arrington, he is a little slow to be a WR (more of a TE esque) But he is the tall Possesion WR we need

7th- Matt Flynn (QB- LSU)- I think we just take BPA here, and Flynn makes sense since it seems as Lemon maybe gone. if Lemon is gone, then Flynn would be a nice #3 QB for us to add depth apon.

(P.S. My 1st ever Mock, please be nice :bighug:)

Its unlikey Kings falls. Hardy will not fall because of his potential.

Pretty good mock.

that would be a cool mock but i would trade Matt Flynn for Josh Johnson he is a QB from SD he looks pretty good 43 TDs and only 1 INT all year

Pretty good mock, if DT and MLB are addressed in free agency. If they are not, we need starters for those 2 spots ASAP.

King will easily be gone by the end of round 4, and it is very posible he goes in rd 2.

I am pretty sure Long will not play defensive end in the 3-4. He would be an outside backer in the same role as Greg Ellis and DeMarcus Ware.

That said, finding the defensive tackle, Glenn Dorsey, is much more important. Especially when that tackle is as special as Dorsey.

I've been anti-Cason with all the mocks I've seen on here, but I'll leave it alone this time. ;-)

The rest of the draft I like. I'm a huge Bennett fan (See "User Name") but if Hardy were to fall that far, I think we'd have to take him. Also a fan of Finley (Yes, yes. Big 12 homer I know) but the kid showed flashes of talent that could translate very well to the NFL with the right coaching.

Yeah, I too am anti-cason before round 4..and he wont last that long

One thing I would point out Sean (Good to see you in here again btw) is that ONE HUGE GLARING need we have is stopping the run. Offenses ran ALL over us last year. You have done absolutely nothing to change that
If we take Chris Long ( I like Dorsey more, but Long is also a special talent) we had better take a VERY good MLB by round 3.

I like the Matt Flynn pick...alot...

Not bad.
