Miami should have a good season, Greg Olsen is the best TE in the whole nation. him and Merriweather will continue Miami's tradition of 1st rounders in the 07 draft

based on what i've seen, merriweather is only the 2nd or even 3rd best safety on the canes.

you should watch him this year than, he's been starting for a couple of years even with the likes of Anthony Redick and Kenny Philips on the team. Philips is good but young still. Philips and Merriweather are the starters at safety BTW

Olsen was in one of my classes this summer...he's a funny dude, and he's actually kinda smart. But we have 3 TE's that can really make a difference this year.

And don't forget Baraka Atkins in that list of 1st rounders. I wouldn't be surprised if Pata, Kareem Brown, or Tyrone Moss become first rounders as well.

Meriweather is the best safety on the canes, and he's the best safety in the nation. When watching next year's draft you're going to hear people like Mel Kiper gushing over his closing speed. Phillips will probably be a better overall safety when he's a senior, but right now, Meriweather is better.

I'm sure Laron Landry would have something to say about that.

I get half-tuition....going to UM is definitely worth the cost.

I'm sure he would...it's close between the two....I'm obviously biased, as are you...it'll be interesting to see who goes first next year.

Yea Landry has fantastic size and speed, but I personally believe Merriweather has better "ball hawking" instincts than Landry . . hell u can't go wrong with either one, and both could very well be top 10 picks next April.
