According to ESPN, many believe that the Seahawks could look to trade away Graham and see what his worth is on the market.

Jimmy Graham has a salary cap hit of $9 million for the Seattle Seahawks next season, but none of it is guaranteed. Releasing him would save the team all of that money and not cost them a single, solitary dime.

One of Tuna's awful mistakes. He knew about him, recommended him to his boy in NOLA. I once thought that he took the Miami job to hold us back so that his boy, Belichik and the rest of the AFC East could beat us. But that's just me.

Traded to the Seahawks (along with a 4th) for a 1st and Max Unger, one of their few good o-lineman.

Bad trade for the Seahawks !

I will take him only if he gets released.

Graham is not getting released he came into his own as the season went on and the Seahawks have every intention of keeping him.
I would give an advantage to NO in this trade but it was not an awful trade.

You guys are silly. Take Jimmy Graham!!! The guy will be phenomenal in Gase's system! He is an epic seam threat with size and speed. He is also a mismatch in the red zone. He's not a complete TE, so blocking is an issue, and there is some redundancy between Graham and Landry, but this is the type of weapon Gase has shown he can use as a lynchpin of a fantastic offense. We'd be stupid not to go after him.

Great players are expensive, but this would be the type of free agent that will really energize the offense against all teams, including the top defenses. He is woefully under-utilized in Seattle, but under Gase he would be setting records. Trade for him ... don't let him hit the open market and command more money than we can afford to pay him.

Trade for Graham, pick up Zeitler in free agency, then use the draft picks on LB, DE and BPA.

we nearly traded a first for him a few years ago. Bring him in if the price isnt stupid high

Considering the two mock drafts I saw had us taking a TE in the first round, I'd be ok with him coming on board. I really hope this draft is defensive based.

Yeah I hope we don't grab a TE in the 1st. Thats just the opinion of take experts though that lnow no real details about the dolphins. Id bet most of us on this site could outknowledge them on the fins.,

Mocks are just people's opinion and I don't think they have any knowledge of picks past the top 10 (hardly get the top 10 right), but last year I anticipated a defensive heavy draft for the Fins and it didn't happen. I also think you have to let Free Agency play out before you can even start thinking about the draft.

Amen and AMEN!!! Current mocks are just work to get a pay check. Their connect with reality (sans, maybe, top 5) is nonexistent. FA/trades/resignings (or not) affect every team's draft. I'll start following mocks 2-3 weeks before the draft. I find it PARTICULARLY humorous when I see mocks for ALL 7 ROUNDS, as if everyone gets the 1st 32 picks right.

This would be a huge plus for the Offense if it happened, but if he is traded, there will be huge competition, and the price for the trade would skyrocket.

If they were to release him he will be expensive (That would obviously be the reason they let him go in the 1st place), and again, competition would be very high.

Shame because I would love to have someone as dominating in the passing game as him at TE.

I understand what you're saying but I wonder if this loaded TE class might cause teams to look towards the draft if they're in need of one.

I personally would love to grab him. I'd say throw our 3rd round comp pick at them and see if they bite. Doubtful but if they are truly considering moving him it could be a good starting point.

Didn't Miami almost pull a trade off a few years ago with the saints? The trade framework was based around Graham for pouncey. That was the rumor anyways. I wonder if they would explore that again?
