could wayne be secretly courting carrol or cowher?you know wayne likes big name coaches just a thought maybe he is using all these coaches as smokescreens?but must admit im starting to warm up to cam cameron he coached with bobby knight lee corso the great bo at michigan im impressed plus im hearing he may raid the chargers staff because of marty's lameduck status there!
 
No I doubt that.
I think if anything it will be one of the names mentioned in the last couple of days. Even if they aren't all that spectacular.
You are dreaming if you think we actually go after Cowher. He would be costly. And that would set the Phins back big time. And Carrol is what he is a college coach. His shot in the NFL was a disaster. Plus he has a pretty decent deal where he is.
 
There could be but I doubt it. Supposedly, they want a decision by Saturday.
 
I wouldn't discount the possibility of there being a secret candidate. It's unlikely, but possible. After all, who the heck saw Bobby Petrino coming?

in the words of the great satan. it is what it is. a not so sexy head coach name that actually will have a good year. our defense will be good again and if we get any production from the qb position we will be playoff bound this coming year.

imo cowher wouldnt cost us a thing if we bring him in as a Offence cord. for 1 year and if your talking about money wise wayne just gave capers 8+mill to be our Defence cord so it could happen that is if cowher wants to come back this season:dolphins:
 
carroll already said he wouldnt take the job but i guess ur word dosent mean much around here now does it!
 
I believe all the signs point to Cam. He spent the night last night and probably was picking out wallpaper for his new digs.
 
Cam interviewed for 10 1/2 hours yesterday and 3 hours the night before. Don't see why they would spend that much time with him and then ask him to stay another night if he wasn't going to be the HC, all the other candidates only had 4 hour interviews.

Don't think there is any chance of a "secret candidate"
 
You really think this team is willing to trade it's first round pick for Cowher? Because that's what it would take to get his rights from Pittsburgh. And do you really think Cowher, a man of integrity, is going to walk away from Pittsburgh to spend more time with his family, and then immediately sign with us?

And do you really think Huizenga is going to go hard after a guy like Carroll, who would be sure to bolt back to college if things got too rough for him?
