Senior Bowl Lineman 1 on 1 practice drill Video

Khalil has great technique. Any one think he would be a good fit here? I know he's small, but can he bulk up to be able to take on guys like Vince Wilfork?

I saw guys get beat more than look good, or holding, but i keep an open mind because in a game, you have a play and a count and all that so its tough to evaluate in reality on some of this.

One guy I am wondering about is Dustin Fry from Clemson because my fox list has him rising around the 75 pick. I saw some flaws there but he must have some things coaches can work with to make him a good center for this to be so.

There is strong possibility IMO that we end up with Staley, Ugoh, or Sears at 40 cus Mueller really wants Quinn first.

Yeah, well when you watch the 2nd lineman in that video (which is Kalil) , you notice his lightning quickness to get underneath getting leverage on the d-lineman..

Kalil is known as a master technician.. And I am sure Houck would love to have a young guy like that to become the leader of the line.. Even though Kalil may be suited to be in a zone blocking scheme, I still think he can make the transition since his technique is so strong..

And like you said, with another 15 pounds, he can do well.

ps- Don't confuse #67 Kalil to the other center who's #62 later in that video.. That #62 blows a very bad play by bending his waist, that was not Kalil ..

With all that said, I think the Dolphins brass is high on Samson Satele at center.. Houck was running their pro day for lineman , he may have went there because he already liked Satele from watching film - but that's just speculation on my part.

For those of you who haven't seen this - Here's about a 5 minute video on alot of o-lineman going one on one in senior bowl practices .. Some notables here include Joe Staley, Tony Ugoh, Sears, Kalil, Blalock etc ..

Enjoy .

So, all the guys you'd EXPECT to be notables?

Ugoh, Sears, Kalil, and Blalock being "notables" just furthers my case for NO OL IN ROUND 1! All of them should be there in round two, at LEAST one of them should be there for us at 40.

O.K. I'll bite...How do you know that Mueller wants Quinn at all? Wishful thinking...a hunch? A strong rumor has it that the Dolphins and Denver will trade first round picks...for Denvers two third rounders. Denver wants a DE badly...and they know they have to get within the first 10 picks to get one....one thats worth a hoot.

Oh my !! If we could switch with Denver and grab 2 more 3rd rounders from them - that alone would make my draft !!

Do you have a link to this trade rumor ?
