I have noticed....Lots of young fans around this place. They are passionate....They are the future. These are the die hards.

So............

Memories gentlemen. I'm asking you to pull up every positive memory. These are the moments in time that make fans of a squad, fans. Confess your embarassingly bad decisions....( lord do I have some)

Lets just set the groundwork. Right here. Today. We are all Dolfans....I'm up to here *Gestures to chin with extended hand* with Beck/Henne, Brown/Ginn bust threads...

Senior fans....Lets mentor......It's not enough to recount.....Talk the emotion.....

To many of the young fans don't know.

GoonBoss, you lost me on this. You are either talking over my head, or I'm more tired than I thought.

I'm rambleing a bit. I just want positive moments for the young fans to remember. Some of these kids don't even remember Warfield.

I'm looking for memories...Positive memories about our team..........Before we lost all the time.

1)Winning the 1st SB. I was 10 yrs old. All the dads on my block were watching the game in my neighbors' living room. When the Fins won you could hear horns honking for blocks for about an hr.
2)The emotionally exhausting playoff loss to the Chargers in double OT
3)The MVP performance of AJ Duhe in the 14-0 playoff victory over the Nyets (mudbowl at the OB)
4)Marino's sophomore season when he shattered the record books, only to have that disheartening loss to the Niners in the SB
5)Monday night miracle against the then undefeated Bears
6)OT playoff victory over the Chiefs. Marino rallied the team from behind in the 4th quarter. It was the 1st playoff win followiong 3 yrs of not making the playoffs.

Just a few memories, off the top of my head

Yes enlighten me of those days. I'm 19 and became a fan in 99 so I've only had a glimpse at this great franchise. BUT, I BLEED aqua and orange. :d-day:

IN THE BAD AND IN THE GOOD TIMES I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MY MIAMI DOLPHINS FOREVER EVEN DEATH

How about the most amazing game I have ever freaking seen
I knew dan Marino was great but Jan 6 1985 AFC championship game was the day I knew that we had one of the greatest of all times

If I remember right, we were down 14-10 right before half time and in less than 60 game seconds we scored 21 points (1 by fumble spread over the end of the second and beginning of the 3rd quarter)

in 60 seconds we went from losing 14-10 to winning 31-14
That had to be one of the biggest motivational boosts of all time

we went on to win 45-28 but it was those 21 points and marinos 421 yards that doomed pittsburgh

In my opinion it was the best, most exciting 60 seconds in football

Here is a story about the guy in your avy Goon.

Not only was he one helluva player but he came up with this wonderful idea:

Facing below-zero wind chill and blowing snow at Chicago's Soldier Field, the Miami Dolphins needed a way to stay warm. Do-everything veteran Jim Jensen had the answer: cayenne pepper. "I read about these Alaskan fishermen who used it in their socks and gloves to keep warm," Jensen said. "I thought, `Why not?' " At least a dozen Dolphins, including quarterback Dan Marino, used the cayenne in Miami's overtime victory.

I remember the game well. In fact I still have a copy of it that I watch once in a great while. That was a great win!

Im with u there im 18, been a fan since 97 when my step dad took me to my first game

January 20th 1985. My 18th birthday.

Friends and family gathered at my parents house to watch the SB between the SF 49ers and the Miami Dolphins. Unfortunately the Dolphins lost to the Niners that day. I was crushed. The Dolphins lost the SB on my 18th birthday!
I wanted to forget everything about that day but now it is a bittersweet memory.

That was a magical season.

I've been a fan all my life. When I was 15 years old, my older brother took me to the 1982 AFC Championship game against the New York Jets. The game was in the Orange Bowl (for those young guns, the Orange Bowl was where the Dolphins dominated before they moved to Joe Robbie stadium, which is now Dolphin stadium) and the stadium was rocking. I mean literally rocking. The whole stadium was swaying and moving with the fans.

A lot of Jets fans showed up. They even had a sign that read "Todd is God", for their quarterback Richard Todd. Well, A.J. Duhe ruined the day for the Jets. He intercepted Richard Todd three times and took one to the house. It was great. We even had car trouble on the way home, but we didn't care... the Dolphins were going to the Super Bowl.
