Coach Sparano will set up a game plan against NJ so as to keep Favre off the field as long as possible.
Lots of running plays, ball control with the short pass, to gain yardage and keep moving the ball.:)
Possession is the key for the PHINS in the opener.

Ground and pound smash-mouth football, featuring Ricky Williams and Boomer Grigsby. That will be the game plan, week in and week out.

Slip him some laxatives, he won't hit the field nearly as much as the toilet ;)

Hey wait a minute, I didn't know New Jersey had an NFL team!

I want to see Farve on the field alot so I can watch him in person get carted off the field with heat stroke.

38 years old + no off season conditioning + 1PM South Florida sun & humidity + playing in Green Bay for 16 years + pressure for your first game with a new team = heat stroke

That will probably be our game plan for every Sunday

No it won't. There are plenty of teams on the '08 schedule Phins DEF can handle, letting Pennington & Co. rack up the points...and rack up the points this Offense will do!

The defense will be able to handle them because they are fresh...because the offense will pound the ball on the ground, keep the clock running, and win the possession battle. I seriously doubt Chad (either one) will look to throw the ball more than 8 yards.

I agree. Also, until we prove otherwise, opposing teams will gameplan to force our offense to pass. Teams will try to take our run game away until we prove there is an effective passing game.
