Even conference champions lay eggs in Superbowls....how many times has a superbowl been a blowout?

The point is...it happens.

It doesn't mean they won't bounce back and go on another streak...it doesn't mean Gase & Co. Can't coach....it means we had a bad day, that we need to learn from, move on....and forget it.

Did any of you actually think they would never play a bad game? That they would never lose again?

Actually....other than losing this game versus losing the Cardinal game(non-conference game)...this probably happened at a good time.

Good reset....get healthy...go beat the Cardinals, Bills & Jets and host the Patriots at 10-5.

Im not so upset with the L. Kind of assumed it was going to happen in Balt. Teams in this league dont go on 6+ streaks very often, so it was a matter of time.

MUCH more upset with HOW we lost. They were flat and couldnt adjust to a simple gameplan.

How the entire team responds will tell us A LOT about this staff/team. Lets see if this "culture" really changed. Sure as hell didnt look like it yeterday. Was watching a PHILBIN AND COYLE game.

I agree...but it does happen...glad to get it out of the way.

I doubt they will lack fire the rest of the year.

it happens...just a reminder...

"Tom Brady stunk so bad his job security is up for discussion"

Was this the end of Tom Brady and the New England Dynasty?

i'm not comparing Miami to New England, Gase to Belichick, or Tannehill to Brady. its just important to remember this happens to even the best teams, its how we respond that matters. we go out and knock out two winnable games against struggling Arizona in Miami and the directionless Jets we are 9-5 with us likely back in the drivers seat to the playoffs with tough games for KC/DEN in that time. adversity is part of the game, we learn from it and move on.

Thank you for finding sanity....yes it happens. Even to the best teams.

The 72' dolphins had some close calls when they were flat.

I feel like this was the first game where we went up against a competent coaching staff and they exploited our weaknesses. Our D is lacking lots of players and VJ has been doing it with smoke and mirrors. On offense, we were moving the ball until we got to far behind and then Ryan started to take chances. This is where he always struggles but most QBs do. Re-group, realize how teams will attack us and make the proper adjustments.

We haven't made the playoffs since Chad Pennington in 2008. This is the same crap Tannehill has shown us since he came into the league when the playoffs are on the line and the game is crucial. 5 years later is most certainly not knee-jerk.

Didnt realize it was RT against the Ravens.

While RT didnt play well at all, you're barking up the wrong tree, per usual.

Didn't realize he was playing LB or Safety either. The first drive of the game was good, missed FG. 2nd drive was really good. Int, great play by Smith and not enough strength by Parker. Instantly we are down 14-0 because of two long easy drives by Ravens. Then we get an Int. Gret play first down, then Penalty on parker, -4 yard run by Ajayi. Called a lame dump off on 3rd down. Ravens then go 88 yards and burn 9 min and its 21-0. But hey lets blame RT. 2nd half he started taking chances. Did he make mistakes, yes. but the defense let us down big time today. It happens.

"even the best of teams" lol Everyone knows Brady and the Pats are going to bounce back in those times. When we have been losing for 20 years, you dont get that luxury as those NE, Pitt, Balt, Den, Sea, Dallas franchises...

Im optimistic and hope it was a one game stinker. I think Gase is here to stay (love his personality)and needs time to build the team he wants. Im ecstatic that were 7-5. No one thought we would be here. This is just a pivotal point, are going to finish strong against some tough divisional teams or lay down the rest of year once these teams start attacking our LB's like Flacco did.

I want to know how the fins respond after a cute 6 game streak.

"Everyone knows Brady and the Pats are going to bounce back in those times." no they didn't which is why i included those articles since it was two years ago. since you forgot, there was the serious discussion of whether father time finally caught Tom Brady.

Still only one game this year....lets see how they finish before we bury them.
