Don't know if this was ever posted? It's kind of old news.

I've heard that the idea has come up, and will be considered. They believe it would allow them the flexability to play more games out of the country, in an attempt to expand revenue's in a growing international market.

What do you think? I don't know about you. But training camp, pre-season, and opening day can't come soon enough.

If this happens, look for prices to go up

If that happens they will most likely have to raise the cap. and consumers will get hit..Players are going to want to get paid an additional game check for playing an extra game, therefore contracts will have to be redone and increased. Concurrently when this happens (and it will happen otherwise the chances of a strike GREATLY increase) retailers are going to have to pay more money to advertise during that extra game, to pay for this increase, retailers will have charge more prices for NFL gear, soda, consessions and so forth...

of course, there is a trickle down effect for everything, I voted no. I believe the season is fine the way it is, if they really want an international market, just make up vacation packages for different countries so the people can come to the US and spend money here.

I agree...Besides, our economy is ****** the way it is right now so if they want to help out the vacation package deal is a great idea. Imagine how convoluted it would be with something like 50 teams all over the world...I like it the way it is now

I dont think they should.I feel the way they got it now is fine but if they did that would be great to see the Dolphins 1 more time each year.

well i would like it cause it would get rid of one of the preseason games and give us another real game to watch. i like it.

17 games is fine for teams like Detroit and Arizona, whom never make the playoffs. The season is long enough for players already, they can only take so much.

17 games are too many games with teams that go to the playoffs. Too many injuries!

Especially for season ticket holder who have to buy 2 preseason games every year. I don't have any problem with it.

NO to 17 games, unless they reduce the preseason to 2 games. :)
