Some notes about players I picked:

Brian Burns - primarily see him as a rush linebacker with the athletic ability to stay on the field and go into coverage sometimes

Clelin Ferrell - I see him in a Trey Flowers role, primarily rushing with a hand in the dirt and providing a solid mix of pass rushing and run stopping.

Dexter Lawrence - Offers the 1T skillset that Miami doesn't currently have on its DL. But is also athletic enough to stay on the field on passing downs. Would be a matter of stamina.

Jahlani Tavai - Would provide the defense with a versatile linebacker with the physicality to rush the passer and stop the run.

Cody Ford - Would likely be best suited for guard in the NFL but offers versatility to also be able to play tackle. Strong as all hell with some ability in the second level.

Each draft I wanted to pick different players depending on who was still available.

I think each draft gives a different look at how Miami could address needs depending on how the board falls. Each scenario assumes that Ed Oliver is not available. I would have selected Oliver had he been there.

#3 seems the most realistic one as I see no way Lawrence goes in the 2nd round. I like Saunders at 78 if he's there and I like Jenkins. I'm not really sold on Ferrell. Would rather have Wilkins in the first round and go edge in the 3rd round. I like Burns but again, not sure he'd hold up against the run at the POA and Flores likes guys that can play both the run and pass so not sure he's what they'd want but I guess we'll see. I believe he'll be there at 13 so they might get the chance to decide there.

Very good. I don’t know the day three stuff as well as you do.

If Dexter Lawrence gets to 48, that’s a steal IMO.

Speaking for myself, I don’t like Brian Burns up at 13. Good speed and wingspan but 13 seems rich to me.

getting Lawrence at 48 would not be a steal......it'd be robbery and it will not happen. He's going top 32.

I'm no draft maven but I sure like the look of that #1 version!

Certainly like the fact you're focused on LOS.

Also find it "totally OK by me" no QB picked!

Could be as simple as

why waste a pick?

I also thought #3 was the most realistic. What don't you like about Ferrell?

No that I don't like him. Just not sure if he's that good or if he benefited that much from having the other 3 guys next to him. He could be that good, just not sure.

13. Drew Lock Or QB
33. Dexter Lawrence Trade up give up #48 #78
116. Bryce Love
151. Khalen Saunders
233. Jordan Brailford They could package 233 and 234 to secure ammunition for next seasons draft.
234. ILB BPA
