Thursday could mark the end of Dolphins tenures for several familiar names on offense — not only the loser of the David Fales/Brock Osweiler backup quarterback battle but perhaps the receiver that the Dolphins dealt three draft picks for.

I’m tired of hearing about the receiver we gave up picks for.

He’s not making a dent, whatever, give em up and move on. We have better options on our roster.

Rooting for Ford and Perry. Man i was wrong about Caroo, i thought he'd be good. I also expect Fales to stay and happy that it's anyone named Cutler or Moore.

I think both make the roster. I would be shocked if Perry is not on the final 53, be it backup RB or on ST, and I think Ford has a very good chance as that 6th WR.

Perry makes it. Done deal

I’m not sure about Ford. Others I’m not sure about Asiata Sterup and Derby

I’d lean Sterup gets carried 4th tackle. Derby kept also. But someone is getting dumped if they carry 5 dts and they should.

Jordan Lucas cut Jalen Davis p squad Howell and elston p squad

Fair catch int of osweiler pack your bags boss.

at this point we're looking for ST players. The top 45 guys are already in. This week is about the last few spots here and there.

Honestly, with Parker's middle finger, Grant's concussion, and two other small WR's in Amendola (injury history) and Wilson, I wouldn't be surprised if every one of those guys played at some point this season. IMHO, we definitely need to keep 6 WR's.

oh they'll keep 6 for sure. There's no doubt they have to

Hilland at right guard isn’t making it so it doesn’t much matter but as the 2 deep right guard Saturday he was awful.

Garvin plays lb with a lot of hesitation but our whole lb core pretty much does

I really expected Eric Smith to be improved this year, at least better than Young. He flashed a bit last year but it doesn't sound good for him

How did Osweiler make it this far.
I have an unsubstantiated theory why Gase is covering him.

It's pretty well known that P. Manning loves Gase and it's likely reciprocated. I'm suspecting that as requested by Peyton, Gase is all in on Fales but agreed to showcase Manning's old back-up as a personal favor. Obviously it's not working because even against 3's Brock is pretty abysmal.

Anyway, may be far-fetched but it's not that rare for coaches and GMs to carry players they have no intention of having on the final roster to afford them a chance to showcase what they've got to other teams. I believe Belicheat did that with Tebow, to name one instance.
