Shanahan explains why RG3 failed in the NFL.

Shanahan basically said RG3 and his family insisted that he become a drop back QB and stop running the read option.( Shanahan didn't implement the read option for Cousins and RG3 figured he could do the same.) Shanahan told RG3 he doesn't have the skills yet for a drop back QB since he came from a spread offense but it will come with time, after the injury RG3 didn't want to run the read option anymore.

I was never a fan of RG111 and I said so to my buddies, imagine the amount of crow I had to eat his rookie season. Griffin at least to me came across as one of those guys that knew everything, refused to listen and was pompous as hell.
