I'm impressed with Nick Saban and the Dolphins. They are slowly but surely building for next year. They found a solid player in Chris Chambers. Jason Taylor comes to play every down. And truth be told, Ricky Williams won't cost them much to keep on the roster next year, and he can still contribute. I think the right moves are taking place in Miami, and in the next few years, the Dolphins will again be a team that is in the conversation around playoff time.

Well Shannon Sharpe is not my favourite person, but he is right about Saban having this team headed in the right direction.
 
Few years my azz!!! Fins to playoffs next season!! I would have to assume we will get better not worse!! And right now were not real far from a playoff team.

I think he meant for the next few years, not a few years from now. As in we'll be a team they talk about in the playoffs next year, the year, after, and the year after...but no guarantees after that (since by then Nick might not even be our head coach anymore the way the NFL goes).
 
Even when I read his articles...I can imagine him saying it with a lisp. Odd.

He's right on though :D

Sure is easier to read what he said, than try to understand it when he speaks !!!!!!!!!!!
 
He's thinking ahead knowing that the Dolphins will need to play an inexperienced QB at some point which will likely cool the playoff talk for a year or two. There's also going to be a switch over to less experienced defenders. Saban still has a lot of roster maneuvering to do.

Man Shannon Sharpe is pretty hilarious. A few weeks ago he was talking about the Chargers corners, and he said something like "Quentin Jammer ain't jammin anybody, and Sammy Davis? Sha-boing-boing-boinnnggg"

some of those moves will be obvious. Some will be very subtle in the middle of the season moves. We have players on this roster right now that people do not even know about. Including me.
