The Los Angeles Times reported that center Shaquille O'Neal "is saying privately he wants out" of Phoenix because the Suns pondered trading him last month and/or because they returned to their up-tempo offense. He declined comment Monday morning. "That's intangible stuff," guard Steve Nash said. "It's hard to quantify. I hope he's not unhappy. We just want him to be happy, feeling good about himself and ready to play."

I wonder who Shaq throws under the bus this time? Steve Nash maybe? Amare? Steve Kerr?

good thread kud, and this isn't directed to you one bit but whenever i see something about shaq does or doesn't want, all i can think about is...

who cares!

i for one wont be unhappy when he calls it a career - he did help us win a championship though and for that i always be grateful but right now i'm just thankful that he, albeit indirectly, helped us get jamario moon!
 
i would not mind taking him back

I know, but I just love when this egomaniac makes a fool out of himself time and time again. Most people love him, I can't understand why. He did great things in the league, but he's also a selfish prick. He's TO of the NBA.

no shot, I read in the Herald today D-Wade and Shaq are no longer close at all. The article said Shaq emailed a few people a pic of D-Wade's head on a female's body. Even if thats not true from what I saw that last game, Shaq talkin to everyone else and Wade keeping his distance, I don't think we risk pissing off Wade and see him bolt in 2010.
 
On a sidenote: How many people ACTUALLY get thrown UNDER the bus. Most buses I have seen have a pretty low to the ground body line, making it virtually impossible to throw someone under it. The act of "throwing" in general means that someone or something is being projected through the air. So unless Shaq or whoever is doing the throwing can throw a person like a rock skimming the water, then I doubt anyone can be thrown UNDER the bus.
