NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that the Seahawks agreed to terms with Julius Jones. Terms aren't disclosed.
This should end the Shaun Alexander era shortly.

What are the odds at a cheap price of Shaun becoming a Dolphin ??

Very low.

And I want no part of him anyway. He's done. Was the never the same after that foot injury. He had just enough burst to do it in his prime, but those days are over.

lol , 5 % from what i saw last year , he looks done.

Running Back is one position the Dolphins look set at for now with Ronnie, a clean Ricky (for now), and Lorenzo Booker. I think Chatmans a F.A.? If so probably use a late pick for depth.

I was wondering how long it would take one of you to post something like this...

jeeeezzzzzz

Even in his MVP year, Shaun was incredibily over rated. I watch a lot of Seahawks games with my family because their all Hawks fans. Shaun has to be at the bottom of the league every year in yards after contact, once he gets hit, the play is over. Ronnie would've had 3000 yards rushing behind Walter Jones and Steven Hutchinson in the prime of their careers.

0 percent..... not spending the money on a manat has done nothing fdue to looking lack lustered all season as well as hurt and banged up.... he looked older than vinny testaverde out there this year.

Man, is every guy who is rumored to be getting released suddenly the best guy for us to go after ???? Get a life folks... There hasn't been a shred of evidence that Seattle is even thinking about dumping SA yet...

We are getting younger and more talented; not the opposite. Why does it seem like everytime there's a free agent it is a possible candidate for Miami? Olindo Mare is a free agent this year... :hi5: (I really liked the guy, but his time has come.)

To answer your question, I'm willing to bet some team (Chicago: Where there is nothing in the backfield, QB or RB) will sign him and overpay him on a one-year contract. He's going to go in, fall over Benson style and then announce retirement after week 8 when he goes out with a random injury.

I know Florida is a sweet retirement center and everything, but lets leave the old people to the Buick dealerships. Miami is ridiculously stacked at runningback for the time being.

Sure, these "used-to-be-good" players have the names, but what does that mean? Chevy brought back the Malibu. Pontiac the LeMans in the 80s. How about the lovely Mustang heritage in the 70s?

The name sounds good, the product isn't.

i too always thought alexander was overrated, i mean he was a good back but he was not a superstar talent IMO

last year he looked very bad he couldnt even moved and he looked real hesitant trying to hit holes too

Im So Sick Of Seeing Threads On Whoever That Becomes A Fa Coming To Miami!!!!!!!!!!

We don't need the guy. Even if he has some left in the tank, I'd be content with the RB situation we have. He'll probably end up a back up in Green Bay.

Why get another running back when that's one of our strong parts of the roster... especially on one that has tons of questions marks.
