Detroit is looking to trade him (link on Rotoworld).
He would be a decent pickup that would cost far less than overrated players like Hackett, Berrian and B.Johnson.
McDonald is a decent receiver that would compliment the deep routes of Ginn.

he is a pretty good reciever, i think and i might be wrong that he led detriot in catches. i could be wrong though. but he is a decent receiver and he does have some game changing plays in him

I like him, but DET has a Pass-Happy system, and he's only played with Martz (wheather it's HC or OC) all his career. Martz is really pass happy.

So he has had a lot of practice catching the ball then. I don't see that as a downside.

He is 5'10" 183 lbs 26 years old and he has been in the league 5 years, 4 with St Louis and 1 with Detroit He had the following stats last year in Detroit,
79 catches, 943 yards and 6 Tds. Kind of small and lean, don't know if thats what we need.

he could be our #3 similar to what wes was. he goes in the middle alot and i know he has got the speed go deep. If we had Ginn, Keyshawn, Mcdonald that would be a nice little core right there. i dont think we should trade for him but if they cut him i would be happy to scoop him up

why are they trading him if he is so awesome?

when you have huge cap room, why is the cost you consider $?

cap room is more plentiful than our players and draft picks don't you think?

In fact I don't think that there is any evidence that McDonald would be much cheaper

the trade is supposed to be with SF and DETROIT. Martz brought him in n now he wants him in SF and SF has no WR as well so they are talking trade as of now during the combine.

sure lets trade for a # 3 or 4 wr...just like when we gave the rams a 2nd rd for the great lamar gordon

COME ON... 8 out of the first 10 threads tonight are regarding players who arent even on the Dolphins roster and are about treading for or picking up other teams crap...

I think aliens are invading finheaven tonight

I followed him closely this last season (simply because he was saving my rear in fantasy football) and he is a wes welker type #3 receiver. If its thrown his way (in traffic or not) 9 times out of 10 he'll catch it and hold it down.

No McDonald..Sick of us trading picks for players...And for us to use one on McDonald...Maybe and just maybe if he got cut...

Trade for studs not role players, if they want to give up R.Williams let's talk but role players you get cheap not giving up picks for. Not a 6th or 7th that's reserved for finding the next Brady/Z.Thomas or Priest Holmes whatever fits your fancy.
