Before people flip out, I think it is worth noting this Jeff Darlington tweet from 4 hours ago while O'Hara was still in the building:

Don't be alarmed if/when you hear O'Hara leaves town without a contract in place. He doesn't want to make decision over the phone with wife.

I think it is very likely he still signs with the Dolphins.

O'Hara played guard for Sparano in Cleveland, and he wouldn't be upset if he ended up there. But belief is he'd push for the center job.

Can't blame the guy. I got a feeling that O'Hara making this decision means that he's been offered the starting center position and Pouncey will slide to guard.

Is this a good or bad thing ???(and yes, that's subject to multiple interpretations )

Unless his wife does not want him to I expect him to sign.

Reputation of being a high character guy who was good enough to play in 3 pro-bowls. He could be a terrific mentor to Pouncey and provide superior depth than Berger.

This staff doesnt seem to give many long term deals, and is rarely the high bidder. Specially when dealing with an aged vet like O'hara.

I would like to see the guy on our team, he adds depth and experience at Center. But he isnt worth the risk of anything longer than a year or 2...

Translation we put him through the finger and low balled him! We have seen this all before.

When he played guard...was it left guard? Can he still move well or pull at all?

This was planned - he was going to make the decision at home regardless.
