Shefter says Miami could claim Chambers

He is saying that based on nothing just that he sees we are struggling at WR, its not like he is hearing rumors from the FO
 
The other team he mentions is Baltimore, and if we put a waiver claim we would get Chambers because we lost to the Ravens , i believe
 
Why not? Are you telling me this guy went from a pro bowl WR with the great, and I mean great, Gus Frerrotte throwing to him to absolutely worthless? I find that hard to believe. He may not be good enough to stay on the Chargers but wouldn't he immediately be our best WR? We need help at WR, nobody can concince me otherwise. Chambers may be the only possible help there is.

We never played the Ravens. However I think we would get him becuase we have a better record. Wouldn't be surprised to see NE in the mix as well.
 
He had worse hands than Ginn imo, he would make the circus catches but drop the easy balls. Though if Coach wants more depth/competition at the position than I'm all for it.

I'd just like to thank San Diego and Washington for the 2nd round picks for Chambers and JT respectively, and we might have both of them back after only a few years.
 
I think he will clear waivers. its over 2 million dollars for a guy that has less than 10 catches on the season.

We dont need chambers, he is 31 and never could catch.
 
I say sign him....He cant be any worse than what we got now. He always makes the hard *** catches. Its the easy ones he has a problem with. So just send him in deep routes. LOL

Polite could not stick to a team until we signed him last year, u never know how a player can react to being cut. Reports surfaced of Miami wanting to trade for Bowe & Cribbs. I mean we even had reports of them going after Evans. What does it all mean, it means they have been looking for reciever help and have not found it. Chambers could be just what the doctor ordered
