Since it is a long offseason and you only play 16 games, it would make sense to just let all teams in that win 9 games and seed them with the division champs and extend the playoffs alittle

How would that make sense?

I dont want to watch a whole bracket of 9-7 teams make the playoffs, it would be boring. I wanna see the best most consistant teams play, and if you didnt make the playoffs you arent one of them.

Just because we go 9-7 (possibly) and dont make it, doesnt mean we should complain, we should try and improve.

It would be funny to make every team need to have 9 wins to qualify....just to watch two teams in the NFC make the playoffs

But seriously that makes no sense like I said before

Considering we were 10-6 in '03 and still missed the playoffs, allowing alll 9 win teams to enter the playoffs would be absurd, not to mention quite boring.

Yeah, I gotta agree with just about everyone and say that makes no sense whatsover.

This 9 wins thing would be insane. Teams would go easy after reaching this mark and someday half the teams will go 9-7 and make the playoffs.

Nahhh I like things the way they are. This isn't the NHL.

They should just switch a few 9-7 teams to the NFC bc the NFC teams won't have as good a record :))

NFL playoff system is perfect in my opinion. I think that 6 teams in each conference with two teams earning a bye is the best format. NBA playoffs on the other hand is a joke when teams 5 or10 under .500 with a realistic chance of making playoffs... especially the Atlantic Division.

Teams that make the playoffs should be teams who are good. 10-6 and up.

I mean damn, Redskins fans and media around here thought they had a chance to get in when they were 4-8 all b/c they were still "in it".

Makes me sick
