I would have liked to see the Phins get Santana Moss in that trade...a second round pick is not terrible, but it may have been a revival of sorts, coming back to where he grew up, where he could be part of a foundation. He has shown spurts of high potential throughout his career, and if AJ Feeley was once considered the equivalent to a second round pick, certainly Moss would have been. Just throwing it out there...Ginn is not ready to be a 1 or 2 yet.
 
Yeah we should had done this... when I heard we traded with Washington I thought it was a sure thing that we would had got Moss... Guess Big Tuna is not a UM Fan... :(
 
if we were gonna get a player it would've been someone younger than Moss that fit our 3-4 defense. I would've thought Ireland tried to get McIntosh, but he and TUna are getting draft picks to build the team how they and Sparano want it.
 
The thing is, we are now another man down on an already paper-thin squad. Now if that was the best the FO could have gotten then fair enough, but I would like to see them go after someone with the picks aquired.

I know the FO are trying to build for the future, but you cant just write off this season.
 
If the skins are trading for a player that only has 2 years left, they want to win now. Why would they trade one of their best WR's when they want to win now?

We are better off in the long run with the pick, (if its used on a solid player of course).

That is what I was thinking. Makes no sense that they would trade him if they are truly in a win now or bust mode. We took the 2nd and now put it to good use when the time comes and move on...

You can't just trade JT for a pick and Santana Moss, or Campbell or who the heck else. Those guys have to be expendable.

The Redskins tried to trade for Chad Johnson because they need help in that dept. They won't trade their # 1 receiver to us for Taylor..
 
You guys must excuse me. FKA was out of touch all weekend and just heard about this. Was Moss and a 6th proposed?
