There was thread about Zach Thomas, figured I'd start one about Jason Taylor. Should Jason Taylor be signed so he can retire as a Dolphin when his time comes? I feel Taylor plays for another 2 years max and then he's done..... Thoughts...........

These one-day contracts are becoming fairly common so that players may retire with the team they spent the majority of their career with (ie: Jerry rice). When Jason is ready to retire, I don't have a problem with him getting a one-day deal to retire on. Then again if he retires as a Texan or whatever, I don't have much of a problem with that either.

The Hall of Fame is a different story. If he is ever inducted the he absolutely has to go in as a Dolphin. Let us not forget the great Red Sox hitter, Wade Boggs, who spent all of two years in Tampa Bay.

Would hope not considering he could'nt wait to get the hell out of Miami last season. I understand he did'nt want to be a part of a re-building job at his age, but he was'nt excatly to sentimental about leaving the Fins last season so I do not think he would be too hung-up if it did'nt happen either.

Besides, what difference does it make if he retired a Fin? Personelly dont bye into all that sentimental crap.

I think 90% of this board didn't want him when he decided to skip practice for dancing. I seem to remember Jason having commitment issues to his team during the offseason. I seem to remember BP ignoring Jason and basically calling him a pre-madonna.I also rememember a sub-par season last year and injuries.

Let it go..........

It's like dating an old gf, the same issues will come up and then remind you why you decided to leave in the 1st place.

Absolutely retire as a Miami Dolphin! I still wanted him last year regardless of the dancing stuff

Unless he becomes a Patriot, he should retire as a dolphin. At least i would be proud of him retiring as a dolphin, which would make me proud of being a dolphins fan.

I'm sure it's going to be a tough choice for him, that one season playing all of five games with the skins is how he wants to be remembered.

I don't care... I truly don't...

Nor did I care that Seau left the Chargers..., played with the Fish and then the Pats...

I like players who win more than I like individual standouts...

Since Jason left Dancing with the Stars the chicks never post anymore...? That's right I'm calling out the girls who supported him... What say you...?

I am VERY critical of Jason...and don't want him back...but he did a lot for this team in the past and I believe he should retire a Dolphin.
