well i was thinking should we go after boldin for WR next year. we need a big guy thats physical and can CATCH the ball. seems henne is getting rhythm with hartline and bess is starting to come around. Im thinkin we should also find a veteran CB for smith and davis cuz they are gettin murdered in the secondary. and in the draft we should prolly get an RB i havent seen much from lex hilliard. and also a DT, Or DE. what are your opinions thanks?

I think you're ALMOST completely wrong.....veteran WR yes, Boldin...no....

Davis and Smith have their growing pains, but you'll be hard pressed to find a veteran CB that will be any better that is worth the $$$$....

DE is probably the strongest and deepest part of the team....Soliai didn't look to bad yesterday. He'll get the rest of the season to prove we don't need to draft a NT before the 4th round.

well i think our WR core is taking shape for the future

1.
2. Bess
3. Hartline
4. Camarillo
5.

we still need that true #1

Boldin or Dez Bryant would be amazing to fill that spot

Get what ever you think is best out of Ginn

if you can trade him for what the coaches think he is worth or more do it if he is better off on our team as a KR/PR/WR (in that order) then let him be #5

I want to see what Turner can do

I get that he isn't completely ready yet but football is football and its not like he has no clue whats going on

let him go if he is trash
cut your losses early and make room for another guy

GJones you were just about as far off as can be. a wide receiver yes but to expect two rookie corners with a couple of safties that cant cover is just crazy. to bash rookie corners that have had to cover 3 of the best receivers is just stupid!!!!!!

CB - Will Allen will be back from injury and has another year (or two?) left on his contract. So there's your veteran to help out. Plus after another offseason these rookies won't be as rookie-like anymore. We are probably fine at CB and don't need to make any moves unless someone falls into our lap. I'm not sure about their contracts, but I think J. Allen is around for another year? He is fine as the #5 CB and special teamer.

WR - We'll get that #1 WR one way or another. I'm not convinced it will be Boldin - more likely Bowe if it's via trade. It will be a high draft pick only if someone like Bryant falls into our laps.

First picks of draft will be concerned with ILB and WR (if a stud falls to us). Ireland will have to balance using our first round pick on WR, trading for WR, or ILB, depending on the talent available when we'll be picking.

I agree with you armyfin7, with one addition, OLB.....I think this should be our first priority next offseason. Again I will say I like our WR, give Cam another yr coming off his injury, Bess is solid and Hartline is looking the part, pick up a veteran who has 2-3 yrs left and throw Ginn and Turner in the mix and we are ok....I think Ginn has improved each yr with next yr he will reach his full potential which will be a great kick returner and someone who can stretch the field. As a matter of fact I like our whole offense, except TE......I say spend the money and draft picks on defense. I dont want to spend money on Boldin who only plays half the yr just because his cost will be to high. would love his talent but not the price tag or injury history.

For all we know the future of our running backs can be in Cobbs (Depending on how much the injury effected him), Lex Hilliard and even Kory Sheets (Less of a north south runner, more of a run between the tackle runner).

Only time will tell as it seems Ricky will retire after next season and Ronnie is plagued by injuries.

Also, I liked what I saw from Kory Sheets in preseason, kid has the quick burst and the ability to make people miss. Miami hasn't had that kind of a runner for a while.

No to Boldin...Not worth the asking price... guaranteed to miss 2 games a season.

Who ever thinks Boldin would not elevate this team to a new level does not know what they are talking about. Bolding all the way that is a real team player.

Boldin's value isn't going to be to bad, especially after what BE got. If they want to re-sign G.Watson and K.Dansby their gonna have to think about letting him go. Personally I think we need K.Dansby more, he will make Crowder a better player and is the playmaker we're missing. Our draft will be OLB, OLB and NT filled, I doubt we take a WR high but maybe a mid round steal if someone falls or equals way too much value when we pick.

I think we bring in a FA WR but that's about it, the FO will give Hartline the chance to become our #2, Bess and Cam are solid 3&4 receivers and Turner will be that new receiver. I hope we have a shot at A.Bryant, then add a vet NT and ILB and draft a couple OLB's and depth where we need it.
