should we go after mike williams from buffalo?

he was the 4th overall pick in 2002...i know he has been a bust to this point but we don't have a left tackle and he did play for mularkey...he has more talent than anybody we got at left tackle...sorry if someone already posted this...what do you guys think?
 
I don't know alot about the guy...but given Mularkey's knowledge on the guy as well as Houck's ability to teach lineman, it might be an option. I know that the coaches already know who they're targeting in FA.
 
I think that it just depends on how much even tho he was way to up and down. Good then bad all the time.

Having talent and doing something with it are 2 different things. He lacks fire and intensity, weighs way too much for LT, and has always been poor in pass protection.

I don't know if even Saban and Houck could do something with him.
 
It depends on how much he will cost us. He might just need a fresh start. He has the talent to be drafted that high, so if we can bring him in for a reasonable price, then I am all for it
 
apparently this guy is a headcase. lazy but with all the talent in the world. if he is cheap sure why not, otherwise....pass.
