Should BP and JI pay this kid to make him happy ?? I'm sure he's pissed about getting a low ball offer from BP.:foundout:

No. Parcells knows what hes doing and Jakes not good enough to separate himself form another option that accepts our deal.

Who knows the origin of the "word on the street" rumor. But had he convinced me how much he wanted to be a Dolphin I would have coughed up a few extra bucks. Convince me of anything else and I'm moving on with my list.

I guarantee you the "low ball offer" is better than he will get as the 4th-5th player in the draft, which is where most mocks have him right now.
Where is it written that each yr the contracts have to be bigger than the previous yr. This is a scam perpetrated by the agents and union. It's all BS if u ask me.
Contracts should be based on the grade of a player, NOT the yr of the draft.
If a player like Elway or Manning came out last yr, would the top player this yr be entitled to a bigger contract? Hell no.

I say **** 'em. Take what's offered and have the prestige of being the #1 overall pick, or drop a few notches and let someone else become a member of the greatest Team in the NFL.

I'd be pissed too. Changing money expections cause your a cheap butt............
The owners and NFLPA agreed to this system as imperfect as it is.

The Walmart Dolphins

Like most players in this year's draft, he isn't worth more than Russell got last year.

Jake Long would be nowhere near the top 10 last year, let alone number 1.

What are you basing this statement on? IMO Jake Long would have been drafted before Levi Brown who went #5 overall to the Cardinals.

no if he dont want to be here he shouldnt be i dont want someone who is going to half a$$ it because he doesnt want to play for us

Russell wasn't worth the deal he got last year...

The second comment is just ridiculous.

Agreed.

If he wants to come here for what we're offering, that's great, if not. Then we look elsewhere if we've really got all these guys at the top here graded all in a bunch. I for one don't want to pay ridiculous money for someone who is going to sit out, a la Russell
