Should we throw cash at Ndamukong Suh to help the defense?

Or maybe, do we have the cash to be able to throw would be a better question? PFF rates him as a 19.6 against the run, which if it isn't top in the league is near it. Odrick and Mitchel were both in the -2 range vs the run
 
What makes you think the Lions would let him go under any circumstance?
 
You can't do that and wreck your entire cap situation. Let's try and draft a DT/NT!

His cap hit this season was over $22 million
at that price he'd need to play both defense and QB for us
 
He's probably the only big name free agent I wouldn't mind seeing the Dolphins taking a look at. He's a game-changer.

The general consensus is that the Lions are gonna let him test free agency, and the rumor is that the one team he personally wants to play for is the Jets:(
 
If he hits the market he will be way over paid....he will never live up to that huge contract he will sign, my guess is the Lions will get a home town discount and make him the highest DT in the game. He would help our run game and physicality on the DL but the cost will be to much....we need to much on the D to pay one guy...the Bucs just made Mccoy the highest paid DT in the game with a 6 yr 95 million contract 51.5 million guaranteed....that's almost QB money....So will get more than that on the open market.....
 
No, I'd rather not have the Dolphins sign the one player I root for an injury on.
 
Suh, I will pass on. Dez Bryant, I would throw all the money in the world to. He is just what we need. His attitude seems to have gotten much better lately too.
