More than likely, San Francisco or Houston will have the #1 pick in the draft. Both have spent a #1 pick for a QB. They will both be very willing to listen to trade down offers. Should the Dolphins trade away their whole draft to get Matt Lineart? Or, if you prefer, 2 years of 1st round picks?

the fact that this thread got all the way to the end of page two without a response is telling.... yeah, let's trade away our entire draft for one player who may or may not be any good...

No, we should never pull a Ditka. If we are not in a position to get Leinart, then we just pass on taking him. We can draft a QB at our position in the 1st round, or wait until round 2. Don't trade up for need, draft many value picks.

Look the point is Leinart isn't Eli Manning or anyone like that. It's just not worth doing that for him. There are MANY QB options...

No, and I don't think that Houston wouldn't want to take Leinhart. We could get Carr, though.

QBs are always available. For right now, we can kill teams with our running game. If Leinart is taken before we pick, I say we get D'Brickashaw Ferguson, and try to get a QB later in the draft.

houston will take Bush
why would they when they got Davis? They're going after D'Brick if they can sign Carr.

no, there are a couple quarterbacks in the league right now who wont be in the same uniform next year

Houston would be more tempted to take a QB before a RB, and I'm pretty sure they're ready to give up on Carr. I see them taking Leinart and San Fran taking Bush, assuming San Fran is 1 and Houston is 2.

No. This team needs more than just a QB. They need to let Saban keep drafting as many players as possible. Brown, Crowder and Daniels have all been solid contributors in their rookie seasons. The Phins need a few more years of solid drafts like that to become contenders.

Did you not see the game today? What makes you think the Dolphins won't get the first pick. That was the Browns that kicked the Dolphins *****. I say again, the Browns.

I agree. We need a new o-line...the secondary could use some work too, but the main issues for this team are o-line and QB. If we fix those and the secondary, we would be very dangerous.
