Should Xavien be traded for draft capital?

We’re in win now mode, this team is peaking in the next two years. If a reasonable agreement can be made absolutely not.
It would appear we are in "win now" mode due to expectations, but if you look at the players we are drafting, the draft picks we continue to accumulate and the lack of FA moves... this is simply our mantra moving forward.

Don't let Fuller's signing fool you into thinking this is "win now", that was simply an opportunity at a cheap rental (with options at the end). If Fuller wanted a lot more money, Fuller wouldn't be a Dolphin.

Our drafts have even seen us draft into our strengths in the first 2 years of our "rebuild"/"build". Typically, you don't draft into positions of strength unless you are at the "luxury" phase of your build. We have continually kept firing at OL, TE, CB and DL even though we had other weaknesses needing attention.

Why? Just look at the X and MG situations. We have already replaced them in the aggregate if they decide to bolt for more money (MG) or try to leverage us for a new contract (X).

Win now would see those 2 guys being offered new deals with a lot more money. Yet, they are not letting those situations dictate our team's future. Both have replacements on the roster.

And if Tua is a bust, we have draft picks ready to replace him.

We have options at every turn.

This isn't win now, this is just great team building.
