Asked if he had a chance to speak with Saban if he knew what he would say. Don repsonded that he has no desire to ever speak to Saban again so not even going to waste his time thinking about something that won't happen

Hell yeah, GO SHULA!!!

Now that is a true dolphin coach, left miami, and still bleeds our colors and supports us...unlike saban the yellow bellied chicken.

Shula has never pulled punches. HE is an honest man - sometimes brutally so. I love Shula. He was loyal to a fault - but a great coach.

yeah i just heard that, they talked about the possibility of us getting Bill Cowher and how it would take a trade to get his services

Anyone have a time machine? If so, go back to about 1988 and grab Dan Marino, the Mark Brothers, and Don Shula. :)

...Oh, and stop off in 2002 and bring all of our current defensive players back...We need them younger. :D

I'm just glad that Shula is an active part of the Dolphins organization again. When he "retired" back as Jimmy Johnson came in, he sorta kept his ground for a while. It's nice to see The Don back bleed aqua and orange again. Greatest.Coach.Ever.

I live with a roommate (from Boston which probably means his brain is a third the size of mine... it's science) who thinks Belichek is better than Shula. That argument comes up at least once a month.

You gotta love Don, he always said it like it was. He made this franchise what it is. He will always be the face of Miami Dolphins football.

Happy Birthday Don Shula! :dolphins:

As p*ssed off as I was yesterday (And I was really angry) after reading Don's quotes I was laughing and feeling better about it. Yeah, Shula's sticking up for the Dolphins and more importantly to him, his son's integrity but it was all true. How can that slimebag ever be taken at his word again? I wouldn't believe him if he told me the sky was blue. I definitely want Mike Shula to be a part of this organization in some capacity. And uh............Oh yeah....................................................
Go Auburn Tigers!!!!!!!! :jumper:
