Shula thinks Colts can go undefeated

I'm not cheering against Indianapolis.
Let them go perfect and win the Super Bowl -- they deserve it for having such a great squad, and being absolutley embarrased by the Patsies last year. Revenge tastes sweet, no?
 
I hope they go undefeated. Not so much that they deserve it as I "as a dolphin fan" am tired of hearing about this 3 decade old news. I would rather see 100% focus on the future of our team and how to make it better rather than worrying about some team beating something 30 years old.

It is strating to be a pathetic claim to fame. It appears many people of this board were not even born yet. Please let the dolphins be more than a history debate.

I agree. Think about it. Manning has already broke Marino's TD record last season. How many people thought that would be accomplished?

Now Manning has another chance to attain the 72 Phin's perfect record as well.

Technically, he could 'break' the record by virtue of winning more games based on the longer season played now from the 72 one.
 
Haha.. Shula is playing headgame with them.. I love it.. He is trying to get their heads all bloated and increase the media hype.. So my prediction.. They will fall to the Steelers this Monday Night!

didn't shula say the same thing about denver a few years ago? i think they lost right after he said something. maybe i'm mistaken...

tee martin won a national title at tennessee. i was sorta being sarcastic in referring to the way peyton has failed to step up in big games in spite of all the talent around him.

i have become more sarcastic about manning lately because all this undefeated talk is crazy premature. the colts have to win a big game first. and i know, i know, they'll have home field advantage this time. but really, how much have the colts taken advantage of home field when they've had it? the titans beat 'em there on their way to the super bowl, didn't they? the phins always used to beat 'em there. i think the playoffs in the dome actually adds to the pressure, because it takes away the excuses about a wet ball and all that.

Tee Martin won a National Champioship at Tenn.....something Manning never even got close to.
