it reports that Shulters would like a contract extension but hasn't gotten an offer yet...

Kevin Carter would retire if he was cut but if he isn't he would like to play 3 of the 4 years left on his contract

interesting that carter wont want to play anywhere else. i think he can play 3 more years and be effective in a rotation

i think lance will stay unless saban and meuller add a couple CBs and put daniels at FS

Saban and Co. will take care of any and all contracts in the offseason, right now there is other business to attend to. and I am will to be lance and kevin have a spot next year.

I want Lance to start again next year and Carter to be in the rotation but I wanna see Manny and Roth play a lot more next season. But by all means, bring them both back if we can afford them both.

on top of that, carter is the perfect character guy for the young D-lineman to learn from

He's earned one after this season's performance. That was a heck of a pickup. 3 ints, 78 tackles, 2 sacks. Arturo who? He's a quality starter and should help us depth-wise at S.

I think Carter will stay for some time until Roth and Co. develop.

yea i would love to see these guys back next season.

Both need to stay. Lance is developing into a great playmaking db. Carter will be a great guy to lead and guide the younger guys and breaking them into the NFL. His recent knee surgery makes me wonder if he can go a solid more 3 years, but he definatley needs to stay and should be used to help the younger guys.

I hope so. Especially Shulters. He has been one of our best players. Also I'm hoping they keep Holliday. I would like to see Wright, Vickerson, and Roth get some more PT, but those three are good players and if we really are going to make a playoff run we can't rely solely on untested young players.
