SI Article Good read

I'm to have avoid this article, because I think it's what will in the magazine, which will come Thursday. I don't know why they have the same stuff online as the magazine for some parts, but that's not why I have SI, though, because I like the other sports to read as well.
 
the media is getting more optimistic about the phins than the majority of posters on this board!!

o First they call the line bigger, meaner and more driven but then call them sluggish

o Joey Harrington hasn't had a particularly noteworthy camp.....hmmmm, he hasnt done anything wrong either and im sure a lot of people thought he would
 
3 linemen jumping Zach, that must've been a sight to see. I gotta disagree that there's no one next to Chambers on the WR charts. We have Booker, who was a Pro Bowl WR with Jim Miller at the helm. That says something. Plus, even though Harrington's camp was par, his preseason performance was pretty good, good enough for us to say we've got a good backup QB. We thin in some places but not all of em.
 
Ah, didn't see at first that that scouting report was by Dr. Z. Nice.

Pretty true at a lot of positions. There is a huge drop off in quality after Ronnie Brown, for instance. And a huge drop off in quality after Daunte, as wll. Joey is a nice back up, but he is not in Daunte's league.

I think he said no one after Chambers as a deep threat. Which is kind of true... Booker is not bad, and I think underrated, but he is no Chambers... and Hagen and Welker are possesion recievers mostly.

They've been all of those things. Including sluggish.

I think you and Dr. Z agree... he said not noteworthy... which is the same thing as saying not particularly good or bad.
 
No deep threat after Chambers? Thats what Booker specialized in last year. He led the league in Yards per a Catch. He's not fast but he runs deep and gets seperation from the coverage.
