SI Grades on Miami’s 2025 Draft Picks

Would Tyler Warren have had the same results in Miami as he did in Indianapolis? On paper he was a no brainer. But in realty he might have failed playing under McDaniel's scheme, a scheme that hasn't been TE friendly his entire time as HC of the Miami Dolphins.
Good point. Hard to say, but with Tyreek Hill getting injured so early in the season, Miami needed other options besides Waddle.

Players develop at different speeds.
Yes after 1 year it doesn't look great but there were flashes from some.
Jonah must come into next season way better or I'm cutting him after the pre-season.
Time to show you belong or off you go.
No more waiting 5 years to develop.
Jonah needs to hit the weights, as does Grant...

I am disappointed in Grant because I thought the one thing he was supposed to be good at was being stout against the run even if he didn't offer much in the way of a pass rush.

For Jonah to look like he is a complete bust after all we gave up to move up to draft him is just devastating and Grier made a huge mistake in terms of scouting him.

I dont think he would have moved the needle as much as Pearce (who I believe would have been the right pick considering we drafted 2 more DTs later in the draft, a productive Edge is really what we needed)

There were several players I was hoping Miami would take over Grant. Pearce and Zabel to name two. Problem is Pearce's off field stuff dropped him a bit. And think he may have been off Miami's board.

I didn't realize that Pearce had 10.5 sacks. Thats amazing for a rookie.

I wanted Harmon if we were going to draft a DT and he looks to have had a better rookie season than Grant.

And the Falcons also got Walker and Xavier Watts. Two more future stars.

C grade is not neutral. C grade means met expectations.
Media in Miami is an embarrassment.
There is no neutral when you are grading. There is F for failed, D for below expectations, C for met expectations, B for exceeded expectations, and A for far exceeded expectations.

As far as I can tell the author is describing his own assessment, not someone else’s. I think he means something different by “Stock Trajectory” than he does by grade.
