This team has the quarterback. They have the talent to compete with anyone. If I was Ross I would be asking Mike Shannahan why he wanted Tannehill. He is a proven coach. Always could beat New England Somehow. I would bring him down and let Tannehill play with a real QB guru. He always acquired good players somehow. He left Denver with Champ Bailey, Ryan Clady, Jay Cutler, Eddie royal, Brandon Marshall and he can turn any back into the next great back in the league. See Alfred Morris. If RG3 didn't have a bum leg they would have had a great team. Ryan Kerrigan, Pierre Garçon, Brian Orakpo, Jordan Reed, Leonard Hankerson, Trent Williams, Alfred Morris, Perry Riley, Jarvis Jenkins, Evan Royster. Pierre was signed from the colts. The point is he hits more then Ireland does. This is without having a lot of picks because Robert . Hire this guy he has a plan for our quarterback and will make bellicheck worried. He is 5 and 3 against Bellicheck when he was in the AfC. He has a better record then cowher. This is a great chance. Hire this man!
 
Everybody makes better decision than what we've had in Miami. I like Shanny but if the reason is that he makes better decisions than Ireland, there are 100s of NFL people who do. It's not difficult.
 
Stopped reading at this point? What a joke Tannehill will be the reason this franchise is in the playoffs. I have sit back and watched Cam Newton have a sophomore slump. Now look. Tannehill played better some of the interceptions where late game force throws. But let's act like they are all ill advised errors and receivers didn't fall down. I remember Andy Dalton in a sophomore slump. Look at Andrew luck he had a sophomore slump look at the stats. The third year is always the big year for quarterbacks. I have been visiting this site for a long time before I ever signed up to it. They where out coached 2 weeks in a row. They should have won both those games. I wouldn't mind mike pettine. I just know these players layer down in the end with everything on the line. It honestly looked like Tannehill and Mckinnie where the only guys trying. Go go that's B.S. Tell me that doesn't tip a defense. If your a linebacker and you hear go you drop back in coverage. If you here Go Go you hit a gap. That ABC stuff. Mike Shanahan can work wonders with Tanny. Go Go that's me running to bed in case you missed the signal.
 
Shanahan's actually an intriguing idea if I thought Ross might show Philbin the door, but I don't see that part happening.
 
Shelter is tight with Shanahan. Maybe he put out a filler to se if Mike would be interested. That could be why shefter made the report Monday about Ross being serious.

You are being over dramatic did you know that Shanahan has won ONE playoff game without Elway? The reason was run out of Denver was due to his GM decisions, him being a personnel guy is utterly ridiculous.
 
I said no to Shanahan in the other thread calling to hire him, but I did not say why. My biggest gripe with Shanahan is he expects players to play hurt. The most recent example is RGIII. I don't want a coach like that around here. Not to mention he hasn't had success since being on a team with John Elway.
