Ronnie threw touchdown out of the wildcat and Ricky score from the new option wrinkle.

All patriots fans are stating they stopped it

The fins scored 14 points off the wildcat.

Am I wrong. Stopping it is zero td's...Right?

Come on Rex. Give them credit. They beat us straight up. We just arent quite where we need to be yet.

for the most part the completly shut it down. it worked out a few times for us but the entire game we werent getting squat out of it

Wow! Couldn't have said it better myself. Some of the posts I'm reading today are embarassing.

Not much to add to what WVDolphan already stated. How can you ***** about Ryan and Bart Scott being sore losers one week, then do the same after the Fins get beat fair and square by a better team? No excuses- their D handled our O when they needed to and Brady/Moss were too much for us - The End.

They stopped the wildcat. Besides the TD throw, it didnt do anything for us.

The Dolphins better stomp all over them in a few weeks when they come down to Miami to play...we owe them one now!!!:chuckle:

In the 1st game last year the WildCat led our offensive to 38 points.
In the 2nd game last year they shut it down and we only scored 28 points
On Sunday we only scored 17 points.

So obviously they are adjusting to it well. Just image if we didn't have the Wildcat. We had one FG. Ugh!

No, they outplayed our O-line. That's it in a nutshell. This issue of the wildcat is overblown by the media (like everything else).
Bottom line, if the O-line is executing, the wildcat formation (or any other formation) works.
If the O-line can't hold or finish blocks then the wildcat (or any other formation) gets "shutdown".
People make it sound like the wildcat is the foundation of our offense. Henning is constantly tinkering around with various formations (as most creative O coordinators do)

they didnt only stop the wildcat, they stopped our run game all together and made us one dimmensional with the pass knowing full well we couldnt beat a high school team if we have to rely on the pass.

This game just exemplified why this team needs a big time receiver and a big fast tight end who can catch. Teams will continue to put 8 and 9 men in the box, if our Offensive line can't dominate and running backs don't play superbly our offense will go nowhere. Camarillo, Bess, and Hartline are just not fast or consistent enough to force teams out of stacking the line. Ginn has the speed to scare teams, but of course we all know his problem is catching the ball.
