Sidney Rice Interview

Nice, I wouldn't oppose picking up Rice if the pick was right.

You should have asked if Miami interviewd him and how'd he like going to South Florida.....But I understand you have to remain neutral as a fan. You got more discipline than me. Great job

I think Rice is going to be a hell of a player, if we can get him in the second I'll be pleased. Good interview too, seems like a good kid.

I've had the pleasure of watching Sidney here for the last two years, and I gotta tell you, getting him in the 2nd round would be a real coup for Miami. In every game, he was the main target of the defense and Spurrier used that to his advantage, using Rice as a decoy quite a bit. When we needed him most, he delivered. I can't tell you how many times everyone in the stadium new it was going to Rice (including the D) and they still couldn't stop him. At 6'4", he still has a 40" vert., and he is one of the best I've seen at going up (even in traffic) and plucking the ball out of the air at its highest point. He has great hands and great balance. He has tremendous football awareness, and is off the charts as a character guy. If we some how land him in the 2nd round, I will be able to continue my non-gay love for this guy.

I want this cat on our team...I hope we nab him in the 2nd although hes 1st round talent.

Hey guys, yes, this kid is a top quality guy. My conversation with him went well, he is very down to earth, and is very polite and intelligent. I would love to have him on our team as well.

Thats really cool that you get to interview players like that, must be interesting.

The fact that Rice excelled in a Steve Spurrier offense kinda scares me a little bit, but I'd say that his comparison to Larry Fitzgerald is dead on. The guy definitely uses some of that basketball talent when he goes up for the ball. I would love to get him at 40. If both him and Kalil are still on the board, that would be one tough decison.

Thanks again guys, and yes, it is interesting doing the interviews. I have already talked with Brandon Siler, Ben Patrick, and Sidney Rice. Upcoming interviews are Daymeion Hughes, and possibly Aaron Sears, Quentin Moses, and Victor Abinamari. Ill keep you posted on those.
