Sig gifs

I've never been able to get a gif to work in my sig. All I ever get is a still image. I've tried saving the image on to my computer and it still doesn't work. Is there a reason why?

well first animated gifs/videos etc aren't allowed in sigs, so that may be part of it.

probably but bandwidth wise animated sigs are pretty much a no go.

I've seen at least one animated sig the last few days. I ain't naming names though. I ain't no snitch!
