Jeff George that is.....

Not only is he not under contract with any current team or television company, he's well rested because he hasn't started in about seven years. In fact all of you Favre lovers need to look no further. You want to talk about an Iron Man streak? I'd like to see Brett Favre sit on the bench for seven consecutive years.

He's only 40 which is just two years older than Brett Favre, but again seven years without playing has healed his body and gotten rid of the wear and tear. Not to mention he will be a considerably cheaper option than Favre.

Being a former #1 pick i'm sure he could groom Jake Long in how a number #1 pick should handle his situation. He could teach him a thing or two about maturity!

Also i'm sure he'd be excited to play for the Dolphins working for Bill Parcells, who i believe coached him at Army in 1965, although dont quote me on that. A Dolphins stint after all would complete George's goal of playing for every NFL franchise.

It's a perfect fit

you're joking right. He wasn't that good when he played every day. Not to mention he is one of the biggest head cases in NFL history. Plus he is what 61, 62 years old now.

He NEVER threw 20 INT's in a season which Brett Favre has done four times and like i said before, he's two years older than Favre. If people want to make a legitimate case for Brett Favre, why not make one for Jeff George? At least George spent most of his career on god awful teams, he's experienced in that regard and would fit well in Miami because of it.

:sidelol:...ummmm,how bout no!!!

Jeff George's name has come up more than once on Sirrius Channel 124 for a few teams. Oddly enough, I think guys like JG and, Ryan Leaf are probably going to do well in coaching if they so chose. Not to mention they are the poster boys of.."Kids, this is what you Don't do if you want to play QB in the NFL." Leaf is coaching, I think in TX somewhere out west.

I realize you're joking about George, and I don't think the fins should get anywhere near Favre, but comparing a complete stiff (George) against a first ballot Hall of Fame QB coming off a pretty good season is apples and oranges.

The Fins would never be in the running for Favre since he'd be looking for a championship quality team. Anyone who thinks we'd be in the running for Favre IF he's really going to play this year is delusional.

George would be nice, but a little "Kosar" goes a long way.Bring Bernie home people!!!!

So who needs a guy with an ego!? Bring in George!

Shows how much you know about football. Why sign him when Ray Lucas is only 36 and still available? Gotta go with the youth on this one.
