Ireland h8ters are just always waiting to pounce. just always waiting for that loss to blame the guy. its rediculous. its like dealing with a roomful of women.

Ummmm.....winning doesn't stop the Ireland haters, it simply gives them another thing to talk about such as winning and hope. Were all here and against him, win or lose. If someone came on here after we beat the pats and said Ireland needs to be fired, he would probably be decapitated by most of you people. Even if this team went on to win the Super Bowl, the moves he has made would have had no impact on helping the team achieve that goal, they would have done it by allowing 80 sacks, no production from the draft classes and linebackers that pad their tackle stats 10 yards down the field.

Everyone needs to go check some stats regarding our linebackers and defenses from this year and previous years. That would be just one example of the bang up job done by Ireland. If you don't want to do all of that research, simply look at the sack total and rushing yards. If Ireland was married to a chick with a perfect body and a dogs ass for a face, he would probably tell her she needed to do something with herself, but leave the face alone and hope that it gets better as she ages.

He brought in Clabbo that was a multiple ProBowler like seriously? Is it his fault he is playing like **** now.

but it's not just clabo. it's not just a mistake here and a mistake there. the poor decisions are everywhere and have left this team with too many holes heading into next season.

You my friend are the best poster here. I simply took me 2 minutes to make that petition, obviously it's not going to get anything done, but that's just my way of venting. I'm not going to get into a war with a guy that doesn't even live in the US, it's a joke. Just know this, I'm better at life than you.

Really that's the best you can do...that ethnocentric attitude is the same reason everyone outside the US thinks the country is ****ed (personally I love the people), but like really you won't converse with me because I'm from Canada....you sure it's not because you have no point and haven't done of research? Just picking a scapegoat and lashing out, too stubborn to be open to differing opinions? All I ask is you look are the league objectively and see how our team and management stack up.

And come on with that better at life bull! You don't know me, I don't know you so that's a pretty laughable cop out. Give it a rest, I can only imagine what butt**** nowhere place you are from that's so grand that you can't talk to a Canadian, eh?

Not much research to do, look at the time he's been here. What has changed with this team? No one even imagined signing those two linebackers yet he went out against the grain and broke something that wasn't broken. Yeah they didn't play well but the defense wasn't a giant issue with this team. We needed to improve the offense and make it special not replace linebackers, and trade away assets to obtain another defensive guy that doesn't see the field. This year alone is enough to take this assholes job.

Alright see this is a fine stance to have. I think it's a little weighted, I thought we needed to upgrade LB personally and it's pretty obvious that he wanted guys that meshed with Coyles heavy blitzing system. That one blew up in his face, he put resources into playmakers instead of OL. He only had so much wiggle room against the cap and although I don't disagree with how he spent all the money, I don't expect to. He made one or two bad signings, added playmakers on defense (only team in the NFL with at least 1 takeway in every game this season) and found us our QB. People don't like his last draft, but he made a shift in philosophy stacking up on pass rushers and the secondary, that's a positive and I think we'll be a lot happier with this draft once they get a full offseason. Personally, I think every fan of every team is going to have issues with certain moves, it's just ridiculous to expect them to do exactly what you want all the time. I get where you're coming from, maybe I have a little more patience because I like what I see. Teams don't become elite overnight, but being in the thick of the playoff race with enough resources next offseason to fix up the OL and other areas of weakness with a team in the position it is is worthy of another year IMO. If he's gone so be it, but I'd be totally comfortable because I figured coming into this year we'd be a fringe team with room to grow, nothing about this year has changed that view either.

I think we needed to improve the linebackers as well, but to go out and sign ellerbe who obviously looks like a product of playing in Baltimore and wheeler, a guy who was on a minimum deal the previous year, is sickening. Could've traded for Albert, could've signed a couple more lineman, could've drafted more on offense. He constantly creates new holes without addressing the real issues. Linebacker wasn't an issue that needed fixing this year. Cornerback wasn't a giant issue that needed to be fixed, only because he went out and drafted two guys only to get rid of them a few years later, then draft 2 more that are trash. Defensive line wasn't an issue that required trading away an asset to move up for and then on top of that draft a 3-4 LB to play a 4-3 scheme DE. The list goes on, fix what needs fixing. In a draft exploding with receivers you went out and signed 2 and didn't bother drafting any that could be groomed for the future and even help out NOW. (ie cordarelle Patterson, justin hunter, keenan Allen.) imagine one of those guys paired up with Wallace, hartline and Gibson. I won't even mention the choke job he did on the offensive line in the draft. One guy that can't even dress.

Internet warriors are adorable.

Riiiiiiight. Go back to your cave.....only time you probably open your mouth is when there's an Ireland thread or maybe even when you actually see Ireland.
