silence is loud

Maybe.

As another pointed out, there is also silence in reaffirming the staff. Ross has not come out and said how anyone is safe. Matter of fact he said the opposite. If he knew right away his guys were being kept, it would have been announced by now.

its been 3 days now and Ross has yet to say anyone is safe..changes are coming

Old droopy likes to find his next guy before the current guy gets fired. Don't you remember?

Im pretty sure he's keeping everyone, why wait? How long does he need to think, this entire staff failed. And his silence says everything I need to know, he has no balls. I won't spend a damn dime on this franchise anymore. Been a fan since 1997 and I'm tired of seeing this crap, year after year after year, all we hear is " next year is the year" no it's not. Coaching will kill you and we have the 3rd, maybe even 4th best staff in our own division. Pretty sad when I'm so numb by this franchise it's getting scary. All I ever hear from my dad is how great this franchise was In his day, but I don't know those days. I know the days of weakness and empty promises, f*** you Ross.

I have said it before, he is waiting on the investigation to be released. After it is out, you dump them and your answer to the press is that "I have addressed the situation" and Ross moves on without having to answer anymore questions all in one neat little bundle. If he lets them go now, he has no ammo when it goes down.

Huh?

The body of work really doesn't need for a negative investigation to be released. It's poor results should stand alone in my mind.

The Martin/Incognito investigation. Once the findings are made public, he can address it this way. JMO.

I agree, but I also believe he has a ton of PR consultants and attorneys advising him on how to handle this.

I understand what you are saying but I'm a bit confused as to why you came to that conclusion. Ross doesn't need what the investigation findings are to fire these guys. There's plenty of ammo already, besides the fact that fans want them gone yesterday.

I would agree, except that it's possible that the investigation could release details that implicate other in the organization beyond those with "direct" control over the on-field results this year. If that is the case, then it makes sense to be prudent and deal with the entire purge at once so that anyone coming in can start with a completely clean slate instead of having to deal with that fallout as well.

The silence sounds like confusion

Although I feel we need to be patient and see how it turns out, I tend to worry that no news is not good news right now. The final report from the NFL into Icog/Martin may prompt some changes, maybe we have to wait for that.
